Lydia turned 2 on September 15th! She had a fun, but busy day with her grandparents and cousins and then at her birthday party in our backyard.
My dad (Papa) made the girls this picnic table for Lydia's birthday.

Lydia got a new trip trap chair (like Amelia's) for her birthday.

Lydia had a fun 2nd birthday. We had a great crowd and alot of fun at her party. Happy Birthday sweet girl. Here are a few things about Lydia at age 2...she is a very sweet girl. She loves to cuddle and hug. She loves her big sister ("sissy") and copies everything she does. Lydia is very outgoing and loves to tell everyone at restaurants and grocery stores "hi" and "byebye". She is also very strong willed. She spends alot of time in time out for hitting, biting, and just not listening in general. If you tell her "no", more often than not, she will look right at you and do exactly what you just told her not to do. Little stinker! She is very smart. She understands everything you say and is using 2-3 word phrases such as "no me do" or "byebye daddy" or "shoe on". Her expressive language skills and vocabulary has really improved in the last couple of months. Some of her words are still hard to understand, but we are working on it. Overall, she is a sweetheart and she is hilarious! She really does the funniest things and keeps us laughing all of the time.
