Easter Egg Hunt

Christoph's work had an Easter Egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter and we took the girls.  It took Lydia a couple of minutes to figure it out, but she finally got the hang of it.  Amelia loved it and got lots of eggs.

After the hunt, we took the girls to a nearby waterfall (Toccoa Falls) to check it out.  It is on the campus of a college.  There was no hike involved, but it was a beautiful waterfall.

The Survivor Birthday Party Challenge

For my sister's (and mine - we share a birthday) birthday, she plans a big "Survivor" party on one of her friend's property in Hendersonville.  I took the kids this year and we had a blast even though it was cold!  Leslie, my sister, had planned all kinds of games and challenges complete with a big final challenge that involved canoeing across the pond and building a fire.  Here are some pictures from the day:

Mardi Gras in Mobile

In February, we went to Mobile to visit my grandmother and some friends.  We also got to go to a Mardi Gras parade while we were there.  It was fun!

Amelia's 5th Birthday (January)

For Amelia's 5th birthday, she requested a cream cheese bagel for breakfast so that is what we had!  A few days later, we celebrated Amelia's 5th birthday at INK children's museum.  We had a great turn out and Amelia had a good time.

The Picasa Web albums where I usually share family pictures is giving me fits so I thought that I would try this instead.  I am going to try to keep up with updating this blog with pictures and news from our family so check back soon!
